2020 Cyber Company of the Year

This award will be given to a cyber company in our region that has proven its dedication, vision, innovation and ability to make things happen. To be eligible, companies needed to report revenue for the twelve months ended June 30, 2020.




2020 Cyber CEO of the Year

This award is presented to a CEO of a cyber company with a proven track record of substantial contributions in their company and the technology industry in the Greater Washington region. To be eligible, the CEO needs to have served in the CEO role for the twelve months ended June 30, 2020.




2020 Cyber Startup of the Year

This award will be given to a startup company in our region that has proven its vision, innovation and ability to make things happen. To be eligible, companies need to be in business less than three [3] years and have only been bootstrapped or received early stage funding, such as angel/seed round, or convertible debt, SAFE or Series A funding.



2020 Cyber Executive of the Year

This award is presented to a C-level executive of a cyber company (other than the CEO) with a proven track record of substantial contributions in their company and the cyber industry in the Greater Washington region. Nominees should be considered thought leaders in the industry. To be eligible, the executive needs to have served in their role for at least the twelve months ended June 30, 2020.



2020 Cyber Investor of the Year

This award is presented to an investment firm or organization with a proven track record of meaningful investment in the cyber industry in the Greater Washington region. This may include a venture capital firm, an incubator/accelerator, or an organized angel syndicate or fund. The investor may be located outside of the region as long as a significant portion of their investments are inside the region. To be eligible, the activity needs to have been during the twelve months that ended June 30, 2020.



2020 Cyber Deal of the Year

This award is presented to a company that has completed an M&A or Equity Financing transaction in the region in the twelve months ended June 30, 2020. One of the counterparties must be located in the Greater Washington region to be eligible. Describe the transaction, the parties involved in the transaction, and its impact on the Company, its founders, its employees, its investors, the counterparties, the industry, and the Greater Washington region.
